Jamie Chambers was born in Atlanta and grew up running barefoot through the pine forests and kudzu fields of north Georgia. The son of a Trekkie and an early D&D player, Jamie was doomed early to a life of geeky pursuits. By age seven, he was rolling dice in tabletop adventures, and by eight, he was already spinning his own tales on paper.
After jumping into online gaming communities in the early 90s, Jamie was elected president of the first exclusively online club for the Role Playing Game Association (RPGA) and worked as an online intern for TSR, Inc. Jamie transitioned from freelance writing to a full-time career working on brands like SnarfQuest, Dragonlance, Metamorphosis Alpha, Serenity, Battlestar Galactica, and Supernatural–including best-selling and award-winning titles. Jamie also served as Vice President of the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) for a decade to help grow and support the hobby game industry.
Jamie lives in north Georgia with his wife Nikki and an assorted collection of scruffy pets and nerdy children.
