Policies and Protocols

To ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all attendees, volunteers, guests, and staff, the following policies are in effect throughout the duration of the convention. By entering the convention premises, you agree to abide by these rules.

General Conduct

  • Respect Others: Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior toward any attendee, guest, staff, or vendor will not be tolerated. This includes physical, verbal, and online interactions.
  • Badge Visibility: Badges must be worn visibly at all times within convention areas. Lost badges will not be replaced without a fee.
  • Photography & Consent: Always ask before taking someone’s photo. Cosplay is not consent—respect personal space.
  • Noise & Behavior: Please keep noise at a reasonable level, and refrain from disruptive or unsafe behavior.
  • No means no. No exceptions.

Cosplay & Prop Weapon Policy

  • All cosplays should be family-friendly and appropriate.
  • Allowed: Foam, plastic, cardboard, lightweight wood, and 3d printed props, blunted peace-bonded props (with prior approval), fantasy, sci-fi, and anime weapons made of non-metallic material
  • Prohibited: Real firearms or replicas that can be mistaken for real firearms, live blades, including swords, knives, and throwing stars (even if dull), functional projectile weapons, such as airsoft, paintball, nerf (unless rendered permanently non-firing and peace-bonded)
  • Staff reserve the right to reject any prop deemed unsafe, regardless of construction or material.

Substance Use Policy

  • Attendees under the age of 21 are strictly prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol, marijuana, or other regulated substances on convention grounds.
  • Supplying alcohol, marijuana, or controlled substances to anyone under the legal age is grounds for immediate removal from the event and possible involvement of law enforcement.
  • Intoxicated or impaired individuals may be removed from the premises without refund and could be banned from future conventions.

Enforcement and Concequences

  • Violation of any of these policies may result in:
  • Verbal warning
  • Removal of the prop or badge
  • Ejection from the convention without refund
  • Notification of law enforcement (for serious offenses)
  • Convention staff and venue security have final authority in all policy-related matters.
